FIELD: detection of objects moving over trajectories which are dangerous at approach from flying vehicles, space stations, for example. SUBSTANCE: method consists in performing several successive measurements of bearings of object, provided boundaries of range of selection by speed are set in accordance with present magnitude of direction finding; when measured angle is constant, space object which presents hazard of collision may be identified. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability of identification at minimum amount of control equipment and reduced scope of calculations. 3 dwg
