The pipe clip has two clip brackets. A support face (12) especially for the hammer head (8) of a locking hook (6) is formed by cut-outs in the edge of a longitudinal slot in one clip bracket. The cut-outs extend radially outwards and upwards from a first support face (11). They form a leading ramp for the locking hook and end in a support edge. The hammer head supports and locks itself with its rear edge on the support edge, when the pipe clip is in locking position.
