The gearshift comprises a servo driven control disc (18) with a profiled face to drive a gearing (33,40) and a gear segment (40) to position and bring the gear selector claw into engagement with one of the gear selectors and to move same. The axial movement of the selector shaft (41) is generated by a cam plate (57).
