REFRIGERATING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLES

A refrigerating apparatus (1) for vehicles, in which an evaporator (19), a fan (25) for the evaporator, a condenser (15) and a fan (23) for the condenser, except a condenser among main equipment constituting a refrigerating cycle, are beforehand mounted to an evaporator housing (29) to form a unitary refrigerating unit (9). The apparatus can be easily and rapidly mounted to a refrigerator (3) merely by mounting the unitary refrigerating unit (9), for which the evaporator housing constitutes a base, to an opening (27) of the refrigerator (3). Further, the evaporator (19) and the fan (25) do not project from the inner wall of the refrigerator, and so do not reduce the capacity of the refrigerator.
