Band valve for radial piston pump

The radial piston pump has a ring-shaped valve housing (14) containing several radial bores in which pistons are mounted for sliding movement. The bores are connected by outlet openings to an outer ring chamber covered by a band valve which is connected at at least one end to an adjustable tension assembly which has a screw (13). The screw passes through two openings in the ends of the overlapping band valve to engage in the valve housing. At least one of the openings is an oblong hole. Both openings can be oblong holes and a saddle (19) is then inserted between the screw head and the two ends of the band valve whereby the web (20) of the saddle engages in the openings in the two ends.
