The magnetisable coil body (1) produces a magnetic field for application in a therapeutic operation. The coil body (1) has a coil core (2) and at least one coil (3), surrounding the core with at least one winding. The coil core (2) is so designed, that the coil body formed by the coil core (2) and the coil (3) for the respective therapeutic application, is correspondingly deformable or is matchable flexibly to a determined respective shape. The coil core (2) is formed at least partly of an elastic hose (4). The body for the respective therapeutic application is correspondingly deformable or is matchable to a determined respective shape flexibly, and the body is essentially designed as a sheath, rope-like or flexibly elongated.
