Hard rubber key pad forming process

A monobloc process for forming a hard-rubber keypad comprises filling a mould with either (a) an epoxy resin, (b) a diallyl phthalate/acrylate copolymer or (c) polycaprolactone resin, hot cure hardening and adding silicone resin to the hardened mixture for heated combination at 100 to 180 deg C for 2-15 minutes. The keypad can then be printed by front printing or laser engraved after forming a metal layer of Ti, Cr or Au.
