Continuous manufacture of roof- and wall board with paper, plastic or metal coatings

Th process produces a roof- and wall board. Polyurethane solids are applied to a base sheet. A foam-forming reaction mixture is applied by a mixing head and foam port, bringing solids and foaming mixture into contact. The reaction mixture is first laid onto a base sheet, simultaneously feeding a cover sheet above. The two side openings defined by cover and base, are closed by edge strips brought in from the sides. Polyurethane solids are fed under pressure and raised temperature, into the end opening formed by this travelling enclosure. In this way they become bonded into the rising foam mixture, within the enclosing coverings. Also claimed is the apparatus for the above process.
