Insulating spacers are claimed having a thermal conductivity of not more than 0.2 W/m/K, suitable for metal combination profiles. These spaces consist of a polyurethane (PUR) casting material with isocyanurate groups, containing 10-30 wt% hollow glass microspheres (GMS) with a density of 0.1-0.7 g/cm<3> and an average particle size of 5-200 microns.
