The detonator carrier (9), at least by means of a locking bolt (6) displaceable in the firing direction from a starting to an end position, is fixable in its safety position. In the locking bolt (6) is a self-decomposable unit (15), with an initial detonator, a delay combustion section and an outlet detonator. On the igniter housing (2), an initial needle (12) is so arranged that on firing the corresponding projectile the locking bolt (6), through the mass inertia force, is moved from its starting to its first end position. The initial detonator (16) comes into contact with the initial needle (12) and is ignited.
