This invention relates to an plastic laminated paper used for an oil-impregnated insulator in an OF cable and the like, a kraft paper used in the laminated paper and an electrical cable using the laminated paper. The objects of this invention is to increase the adhesion strength between the kraft paper and a plastic film of the laminated paper comprising kraft paper and the plastic film, and to improve the impulse dielectric breakdown character of the oil-impregnated insulator obtained by using this laminated paper. The present invention adopts a multi-ply paper comprising at least two layers of paper having different air permeability as the kraft paper for solving the objects. The air permeability of the high air permeability layer is set to be equal to or less than 5000 Gurley seconds, and the air permeability of the low air permeability layer is set to be equal to or greater than 1000 Gurley seconds. <IMAGE>
