Wear protection for inner surface of concrete mixer floor with hard ceramic tiles

The majority of the inner surface of the floor (14) is covered in complete tiles (30,32) constituting a set of tiles comprising a small number of geometrically differing types. Those parts of the inner surface of the floor, on which there is not a wall-to-wall covering of complete tiles from the set, are covered in cut-out pieces (34,36,38,40) of welded plates. One type of tile is rectangular, whilst another type is trapezoid or a right-angled triangle. The welds are formed of material with a carbon content of more than 4.5%, a chromium content of more than 20% and a niobium content of more than 3%.
