Pressure casing for vibration sensor, e.g. for engine block of IC engine

The sensor has a sensor element mounted radially externally on a pressure casing, which can be electrically contacted using a connection part. The pressure casing (2) can be directly or indirectly mounted on a component causing vibrations using a fixing bolt, which is fed through a bore (4). The pressure casing is made of aluminium or aluminium alloy. The vibration generating component may be the engine block of an internal combustion engine.
