The locking claws (3) are pivotably mounted on the upper rail (2) attached to the seat and engage in openings in the lower rail (1) attached to the vehicle in the locked state. Each locking claw has an associated sensor which detects the position of the corresponding locking claw and which is connected to a display for the position of the locking claw.
