<p>A switcher system for switching the I/O route of each signal without increasing the number of switchers even when the number of types of signal is increased. The system is provided with matrix-like switchers comprising a set of cross points where a plurality of input lines and ouput lines intersect for switching the I/O route of signal by switching the connection of the cross points within a specified matrix range constituted of specified input lines and output lines out of the input lines and output lines, means for storing unused matrix range information representative of unused input lines and output lines out of the input lines and output lines except the specified matrix range and selected matrix range information representative of input lines and output lines selected from an unused matrix range, and control means for setting a new matrix range from the unused matrix range based on the unused matrix range information and the selected matrix range information.</p> |
