The electric unit has an electric drive, assigned to a tubular reception body (1), provided for the realisation of a through flow of the body with a flowable medium. The electrical connection of the drive is electrically connected with a frequency changer arranged in a case type housing. The housing (3') of the frequency changer (3), provides an opening (1a) tuned to it, in the outer wall (1') of the tubular reception body. Which is assigned in such a manner, that it is provided with a housing section (3a) associated with its underside, in the inner chamber (4) of the reception body in the vicinity of the electric drive (2). The case type housing (3') of the frequency changer (3) is provided with a fixing flange (3b), adjoining the housing section (3a) associated with the underside, provided at least partially surrounding this. The flange is held force and/or form locked at the edge region (1b) adjacent to the opening (1a) of the reception body (1).
