The cleaning device is for a disk sieve with cleaning brushes allocated to a sieve deck, driven in rotation below the deck. The cleaning brush (17) can turn about a horizontal axis (36) in a carrying frame (18) in which it is suspended by a rotating connection. It can be pressed against the sieve deck by a counterweight (38) so that it corrects itself automatically relative to the sieve deck. The brush may be below the sieve deck or above it.
