The mounting is used to secure a removable dental prosthesis. It may be used for a dental crown or implant held in place by a clip. There is a lock (A) for the clip (R) which can be displaced from its holding groove by operating the press button (D). It holds it open, against the spring tension, for the implant to be removed. The press button is bonded directly to the clip, which is connected to the lock.
