Coil-coating with thermosetting composition giving very flexible, weather-resistant thick film

A coil-coating process using a thermosetting coating composition that is stable at room temperature is new. This contains (a) binder(s) with an average of >= 2 hydroxyl (OH) groups/molecule; (b) end-blocked diisocyanate(s) containing uretdione groups, which can revert to isocyanate (NCO) groups on heating; and (c) optionally other suitable components.
