PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost, and improve the workability for the feeding of a fire-resistant article raw material into a mixer by a method wherein the bottom part of a flexible container bag having a hanging utensil, containing a refractory article raw material, is automatically opened by a bag opening machine which is arranged above a mixer, and the fire-resistant article raw material in the container bag is dropped into the mixer. SOLUTION: A powdery/granular fire-resistant article raw material 4 of which the composition and the particle size are regulated in advance at a fire-resistant article factory, is packed in a disposable flexible container bag 6 made of a polypropylene resin having a hanging string 5 on the top, and carried by a truck, etc., to a working site A, and a plurality of the flexible container bags 6 are hung by a storing-carrying device 7 in order, and are stored. From the device 7, the flexible container bag 6 is carried to the top of a mixer 9 by a traverse device 8 and the bottom part of the flexible container bag 6 is cut and torn by a bag opening machine 10, and the refractory article raw material 4 in the flexible container bag 6 is thrown into the mixer 9, and is kneaded while adding water, and an irregular fire-resistant article of a proper tenacity is manufactured. The irregular fire-resistant article is poured into a gap 12 which is formed in a ladle 1, and cured and solidified, and a fire-resistant wall 2 is formed. |
