PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a clothirvg material excellent in electromagnetic wave shielding properties without impairing amenity in wearing, by coating a sheetlike substrate with an electromagnetic wave shielding metal and forming a moisture permeable resin layer at least on either the surface or the back of the substrate. SOLUTION: A sheetlike substrate 1 such as a polyester taffeta is provided with a metal layer 2 composed of an electromagnetic wave shielding metal such as copper by an electroless plating. At least either side of the surface and back of the substrate 1 is provided with a moisture permeable resin layer 3 by a dry method for coating the substrate with a w/o type urethane emulsion, subjecting the substrate to coagulation treatment in a hydrous state as it is and evaporating water to form a porous coated film or a wet method for coating the substrate with a solution of a urethane-based resin in an organic solvent, eluting the solvent in water to form a porous membrane to give an electromagnetic wave shielding clothing material. |
