<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector with plural flat cables which is capable of preventing the buckling of the flat cables. SOLUTION: Each of two flat cables 3, 4 having reverse parts 3a, 4a on their ways which are wound superposing each other in a storage 6 partitioned between a fixed-side housing 1 having an outer cylinder wall 1a and a movable- side housing 2 having an inner cylinder wall 2a has both ends collected into the fixed-side joint 7 of the outer cylinder wall 1a and the movable-side joint 8 of the inner cylinder wall 2a, respectively. The first and second flat cables 3, 4 are both formed into band shape with plural conductors 10 laminated between a pair of base films 9, 9, and roughening treatment is applied to the surface of one base film 9 to form a roughened surface 9a with a center line average roughness Ra of 0.03μm or more. Both flat cables 3, 4 superpose each other with their roughened surfaces 9a so as to be put in contact with the flat surfaces of counterparts.</p> |
