摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the amount of light output from an optical shutter element correspondingly to a change with time or an environmental change, etc., without preparing a special light amount detection sensor. SOLUTION: The image-forming apparatus comprises an image read part 10 including a line sensor 16, a solid scanning optical write head 20 having an optical shutter element, an image formation part 30 based on an electrophotographic system and a sample sheet transfer path 36. The optical write head 20 outputs sample data at a predetermined time, e.g. when the apparatus starts up, etc., and the image formation part 30 transfers a sample image on a sheet. The sample sheet is transferred onto a platen glass 19 through the transfer path 36. The image read part 10 detects a light reflection intensity of the sample image. Correction data for the amount of output light of the optical shutter element is formed on the basis of the detection result and fed back for use in reproduction of a document image.</p>
