METHOD FOR SCHEDULING PACKET DATA TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for executing scheduling and permitting multiple packet data users belonging to the cell of a moving communication network to share traffic channels. SOLUTION: In a packet data transmission/reception system, a medium access control(MAC) message is broadcast from a base station to plural moving stations. The MAC message contains packet data transmission scheduling information for permitting the base station to preferentially control the access of the moving station to the traffic channel since the efficiency of packet data transmission is made to be maximum and scheduling is executed by considering preferential access, the quality of service and the maximum number of bytes per transfer. The MAC message is constituted of control frame structure having scheduling parameters containing an 'MACID' field, an action field and a field showing the number of the traffic channels of a cell. The parameters realize the multiple moving stations to share the traffic channels for packet data transmission by a time divisional system in the moving communication system of a code division multiplex connection(CDMA) system.
