PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hold-releasing mechanism for a moving member which is surely capable of releasing a holding condition for the moving member. SOLUTION: In a memory card mounting device with a built-in hold releasing mechanism for a holder 4 serving as a moving member, a card (memory card) is inserted into a holder 4 in an open condition of an opening and closing cover 2, in the case of mounting the memory card. The opening and closing cover 2 is closed, and a contacting point part of the memory card is brought into contact with a connector 10 on the side of a main body and is electrically made connecting. In the case of taking the memory card form the holder 4, the holder 4 is made open to an open position by opening the cover 2, but during the opening operation the contact condition between the memory card and the connector 10 is forcedly separated, so that the card holder 4 surely results in the release condition. In this release condition, the memory card is easily taken from the card holder 4. |
