PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swivel nozzle apparatus for washing pipes of which a nozzle head is stably swiveled and which efficiently washes the insides of pipes with a small amount of water without damaging the inner walls of the pipes. SOLUTION: This swivel nozzle apparatus for washing pipes comprises an axial body 1 which can be connected with and fixed in the tip end part of a high pressure hose and a nozzle head 2 attached to the axial body 1 in a freely rotatable manner. The nozzle head 2 comprises a cylindrical body part and a pair of scraper parts 8a, 8b projected out of an outer circumferential wall of the cylindrical body part 7 and respective scraper parts 8a, 8b are positioned face to face each other while sandwiching the rotary axis of the cylindrical body part 7 and comprise first jetting holes 9a, 9b to generate the rotating force of the nozzle head 2. The nozzle head 2 is made of plastic with high impact resistance, especially preferably made of nylon. Moreover, it is preferable to form second jetting holes in the cylindrical body part to jet out high pressure water in the direction at right angles to the rotation axis of the cylindrical body part and also to form third jetting holes to jet out high pressure water in the direction not rectangular to but crossing the rotation axis of the cylindrical body part. |
