<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire grip capable of surely gripping an electric wire even when the wire grip is shocked under the state, in which the electric wire is gripped, while making the stripping works of an insulating coating layer unnecessary. SOLUTION: Operating members 4A, 4B are connected at the base end sections of connecting members 2, in which front ends are coupled with a drawing means 31, in an operable manner. A pair of wire grip sections 7, 8 for gripping an electric wire are installed in such a manner that the wire gripping sections 7, 8 are brought near mutually by operation in one direction to the connecting members 2 of the operating members 4A, 4B, and the electric wire 18 is gripped while being mutually separated by working in the other direction to the connecting members 2 of the operating members 4A, 4B. Retaining sections 17 having length sufficient for penetrating through the insulating coating layer of the electric wire 18 when both wire gripping sections 7, 8 grasp the electric wire 18 are projected from at least one of the mutually opposed each wire gripping surface of both wire gripping sections 7, 8. Since the front ends of the retaining sections 17 are engaged directly with the strand of the electric wire 18, slip-off from both wire grip sections 7, 8 of the electric wire 18 when the wire grip is shocked can be prevented.</p> |
