<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing emulsion ink having a high printing density, reduced in strike-through and blur and being excellent in emulsion stability and driability after printing. SOLUTION: In a W/O emulsion ink containing a water-insoluble powder in a water phase, the emulsion is stabilized by adjusting the viscosity of the water phase at a shear rate of 500 s<-1> and 23 deg.C to 2.0 mPa.s or above. The driability of the ink is heightened by adjusting the viscosity of the water phase excluding the water-insoluble powder at a shear rate of 500 s<-1> and 23 deg.C to 4.5 mPa.s or below. The viscosity of the water phase can be adjusted by adding a viscosity modifier. The water-insoluble powder comprises a water-insoluble colorant and/or an extender pigment, etc., and it is also possible that the oil phase contain such powder.</p> |
