PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multilayer thermal copy sheet excellent in thermal recording performance and pressure-sensitive recording performance by adding a hydrophobic resin having a specified glass transition point, as an adhesive, into a thermal transfer receiving layer. SOLUTION: The multilayer thermal copy sheet comprises an upper recording sheet having one side provided with a thermal recording layer containing a leuco dye and a developer and the other side provided with a thermal transfer layer containing a leuco dye and a thermally fusible organic compound, and a lower recording sheet provided with a thermal transfer receiving layer containing a developer and an adhesive. A hydrophobic resin having glass transition point in the range of -45 through 20 deg. is added into the thermal transfer receiving layer. The hydrophobic resin includes acryl based resin, urethane based resin, styrene-butadiene based resin, vinylacetate based resin, vinylidene chloride based resin and vinylacetate-vinylchloride based resin. The hydrophobic resin is employed by 5-90 wt.% of the total solid content of the thermal transfer receiving layer. |
