摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deodorizing garlics utilizing a bamboo. SOLUTION: A bamboo screen 2 is spread on a workbench 1 and garlics 4 are laid thereon. Otherwise, a bamboo screen 40 and a sheet of Japanese paper 5 are spread and bamboo charcoals 6 are laid thereon and a bamboo screen 41 and a sheet of Japanese paper 43 are further spread to transversely lay charcoals 7 thereon. A bamboo screen 42 and a sheet of Japanese paper 44 are spread to lay active carbons 8 thereon. The active carbons 8 are then covered with a noncombustible fabric 9 and a waterproof sheet 28. Each end of the noncombustible fabric 9 and the waterproof sheet 28 is fixed with a string and the resultant assembly is then dried in the sun for 10 days. Only the material for deodorization is exchanged for a new material and the resultant assembly is preserved in the cold dark for 20 days. A bamboo cage containing the garlics is subsequently placed in a biscuit pot and covered with the bottom of a cage of equal size as a lid. The covered cage is then wrapped with a sheet of Japanese paper and bamboo coals, charcoals and active carbons are placed around the sheet of Japanese paper, covered with the sheet of Japanese paper and fixed with the string. The obtained assembly is preserved for 20 days and then mixed with rice bran in another pot for utilization.
