摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel with which the discrimination of function key area outside a display area on a touch panel composed of a resistant film is accelerated and a resolution is prevented from being lowered in the display area. SOLUTION: Concerning a resistant film type touch panel 1 composed of resistant film sheets 20 and 30, a power source means 10 for generating a voltage gradient is connected to one resistant film sheet 20, the other resistant film sheet 30 is provided for detecting a voltage corresponding to the pressed coordinate position on the touch panel 1, voltage information corresponding to the pressed coordinate position detected from the respective resistant film sheets 20 and 30 is transmitted through a switch circuit to an analog/digital(A/D) converting means 11, and the pressed coordinate position is determined. Concerning such a touch panel 1, a function key 51 is arranged at a display area outside part 90 on the touch panel 1, and the area 90 of display area outside part is equipped with a display area outside pressing detecting means 70 for detecting the execution of pressing and a reporting means 80 for reporting the output of display area outside pressing detecting means 70 to a relevant arithmetic control circuit part 12 directly without passing through the A/D converting means 11.</p>
