<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an optimum coordinate detection algorithm corresponding to the characteristics of display picture. SOLUTION: A system controller 11 controls an entire device based on a program stored in a system control software storage part 12. A touch panel operating part is composed of a display part 13 such as an LCD, resistant film type analog touch panel 14, touch panel controller 15, A/D converter 16, touch panel I/F part 17 and serial I/F 18. The touch panel controller 15 is a one-chip CPU, has components such as a CPU part, ROM part, RAM part and I/F part and stores the pressed coordinate detection software of analog touch panel and the control software of data exchange with the main body side of device in the ROM part. The touch panel controller 15 stores the plural algorithms of analog touch panel pressed coordinate detection and based on information from the side of system controller 11, any one of these algorithms can be selectively used.</p> |
