<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an operator electrically from the terminal of an electric wire, and to protect the terminal of the electric wire mechanically while easily mounting and demounting the terminal of the electric wire. SOLUTION: A terminal treating tool 10 for the electric wire consists of a natural rubber, and contains a first cylinder section 13 in which an inner circumferential surface is brought into contact elastically with the outer circumferential surface of the conductor of the electric wire and covers the conductor, and a second cylinder section 16 covering the coating layer of the electric wire. The first cylinder section 13 is formed flatly, a space between a pair of inner circumferential surfaces opposed under a natural state is selected in size less than the outside diameter of the conductor, and length in the peripheral direction of the inner circumferential surface is selected at a value exceeding length in the peripheral direction of the outer circumferential surface of the conductor. A space between a pair of inner circumferential surfaces opposed under the natural state of the second cylinder section 16 is selected in a size larger than the outside diameter of the coating layer. A projecting strip is formed to the inner circumferential surface of the first cylinder section 13. Rubber powder is attached onto the outer circumferential surfaces of the first and the second cylinder sections 13. 16.</p> |
