PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the loads of computer resources and computer network resources and the loads of a user in the transmission of a file utilizing an electronic mail. SOLUTION: In a mail transmission side device, an attachment file generation part 301c generates an attachment file describing the access method of a specified file. A mail tool 302 attains mail data by attaching the generated attachment file to a mail message and transmits them to a specified transmission destination through a mail server 303. In a mail reception side device, a mail reader 305 extracts the attachment file from the mail data received through a mail server 304. An attachment file analysis part 306a analyzes the access method described in the attachment file and a file reception part 306b accesses a file management/transmission tool 301 corresponding to the access method and receives and displays the specified file. |
