PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new nucleotide having a high idneticalness to a sequence encoding an ATG-1120 (AIF-1-δ) polypeptide having a specific amino acid sequence and useful for the treatment, diagnosis, etc., of arteriosclerosis, hypertension, cancer, an autoimmune disease, etc. SOLUTION: This new splice mutant is a new isolated nucleotide sequence having at least 80% identicalness over the whole length of a nucleotide encoding an ATG-1120 (AIF-1-δ) polypeptide having an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula, or a complemental nucleotide sequence to the above nucleotide sequence, and useful for the treatment, diagnosis, etc., of arteriosclerosis, a CHF, a recurrent stenosis, myocardial infarct, hypertension, a cerebroarterial phenomenon, dyshematopoiesia, an ARDS, cancer (especially leukemia), an autoimmune disease, an inflammatory disease, renal glomerulopathy, etc. The polynucleotide is obtained by screening a suitable library by using a radio- labelled probe, etc., under a stringent condition. |
