PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium carrying device in which medium as gas, liquid, or loose grain is carried. SOLUTION: A medium carrying device comprises majour component parts of a support part 2, and a blade part fixed along it, which are integrated with each other in form or dynamically. The medium carrying device 1 comprising composite in which one or more support parts 2 are embedded is especially provided in an impeller 1 to be used in a pump or turbine or a machine like that. This support part 2 is mainly formed of grids comprising continuous carbon fibers and/or ceramic, and a matrix including carbon, so liquid silicon penetrates to react with carbon in the matrix to become silicon carbide with which the fibers are coated. |
