PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent damage of glass tubes and condensation thereon, by erecting supports receiving the load of the upper stage in a case body and arranging buffer plates having a absorbency at the inside of the supports to make the buffer plates contact the tube ends and contain the long glass tubes into the case body. SOLUTION: Support bodies 4 made of resin, wooden materials, or the like receiving the load of the upper stage are erected along the inside faces 12 of the opposite sides of a case body 2, in the case body placed through a spacer 10 on a pallet 1. And buffer plates 5 formed of rectangular pieces such as corrugated cardboard having an absorbency are arranged in the inside of the support bodies 4. And then, the tube ends are arranged to contact the buffer plates 5 in the case body 2 and the long glass tubes are parallelly contained in a number of stages. Thereafter, the flaps 14 are bent inward along folding lines 15, 15,... and the opening 13 is covered with the upper cover 3 and the joining lines of the upper cover 3 are bonded with packaging tapes to seal the lines and obtain a packaging body for glass tubes. |
