摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new gene polynucleotide having a high identicalness to a nucleic acid encoding an ATG-1100 (AIF-1-γ) polypeptide and useful for the treatment, diagnosis, etc., of arteriosclerosis, cancer, an autoimmune disease, etc. SOLUTION: This new splice mutant is a new isolated nucleotide sequence having at least 80% identicatness over the whole length of a nucleotide encoding an ATG-1100 (AIF-1-γ) polypeptide having an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula, or a complemental nucleotide sequence to the above nucleotide sequence, and useful for the treatment, diagnosis, etc., of arteriosclerosis, a CHF, a restenosis, hypertension, a fibrous angiopathy, a cerebroarterial phenomenon, dyshematopoiesia, an ARDS, cancer (especially leukemia), an autoimmune disease, an inflammatory disease, a glomerulus disease, etc. The polynucleotide is obtained from a cDNA library derived from mRNA's of human hematopoietic cells, etc., by using a standard cloning and screening method.
