<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance separation performance of solids, especially a plastic mixture, based on density of the plastic, by separating at least one portion of heavy density solids being impurities suspended into a separation liquid from a suspension liquid with a hydrocyclone, and then separating remaining solids with a centrifugal separator. SOLUTION: The separation liquid 11 and the solids 12 to be separated (the plastic mixture, etc.), are charged into a charging tank 10, and the suspension liquid is formed by mixing with an agitator 26. This suspension liquid is fed to the hydrocyclone 15 with a feed pump 24, and there the suspension liquid is separated and a heavy component incorporating a mineral heavy product is passed through a filter device 27 and extracted as an underflow 17, while a light component incorporating the plastic mixture almost removed the mineral heavy component is flowed out as an overflow 16. Next, the overflow suspension liquid 16 is fed to the centrifugal separator 20, and here the plastic mixture is separated to a heavy component 18, a light component 19 and the separation liquid 11, based on the separation density against the density of the separation liquid, and the separation liquid 11 is recalculated to the charging tank 10.</p> |
