PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance battery performance by approximating as much as possible the microstructure and the carbonate impregnation amount of a cathode to a set value. SOLUTION: Cells formed by sandwiching electrolyte plates by both electrodes, a cathode and an anode, from both faces are stacked in multiple layers via separators into a stack. When the cells are stacked, the opening rate of a cathode side collector 6A among plate-made collector plates with openings intervening between the cells and the separators are set to 30 to 40% or 65 to 85%. Even if the pore diameter of the cathode is decreased from an initial value, the diameter is not allowed to become 4.5 μm or less, so that a carbonate impregnation amount close to a setting value can be maintained. |
