PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable plural heads to simultaneously read or write information by arranging read means and write means at positions opposed to the cylindrical storage medium fixed to a rotary driving means and separately moving them to the direction of the rotary shaft. SOLUTION: When there is the request of a recording or a reproduction, a control part 15 makes the recording of information or the reproducing of information to be performed by specifying a head driving part 13 being in an inactive state and by moving a corresponding head 5 to an initial position by a positioning part 13a and also by rotating the storage medium at a prescribed speed while driving a motor 2. At this time, when there is the request of the writing of information or the reading of information from another user, the control part 15 makes the recording of the information or the reproducing of the information to be similarly performed by specifying a head driving part 13" being in an inactive state and by moving a head 5" to an initial position. Moreover, the control part makes similar recording and reproducing processings to be performed according to requests from other users. Thus, even when requests of recordings or/and reproductions are performed simultaneously, when positions of heads are not coincident, accesses are made possible simultaneously by driving different heads. |
