PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant and antibacterial powder material which is capable of being easily distributed and blended in paper-making raw material or synthetic resin raw material and keeping deodorizing and antibacterial properties in wrapping paper, a wrapping bag, a paper container, wrapping film and a wrapping container which are to be formed. SOLUTION: This deodorant and antibacterial powder material comprises an adsorption powder, made from activated charcoal, diatomaceous earth, or a water-bearing aluminosilicate, and an electromagnetic-wave-radiating ceramic powder material capable of radiating electromagnetic waves in the near infrared range wherein radiation wavelength is from 2.5 to 3.2μm and in the far infrared range wherein radiation wavelength is from 5.0 to 7.4μm, at an emissivity of at least 0.8 or more with respect to blackbody emissivity, and having a particle diameter of 1μm or less, the electromagnetic wave radiating ceramic powder being blended by 0.3 to 3.0 wt.% of the adsorption powder material and baked and hardened to a particle diameter of 10μm or less at a maximum.
