COLOR FILTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color filter realizing excellent display quality when it is used for a color liquid crystal display device where the strictly accurate control of a cell gap is required by setting the projecting amount of a columnar projecting part from a display picture element part where a coloring layer is formed within a specified range. SOLUTION: A transparent protective layer 6 is formed so as to cover up a black matrix 3 and the coloring layer 5, and further the transparent columnar projecting part 7 is integrally formed with the layer 6 at plural specified spots of the black matrix 3. The projecting part 7 acts as a spacer when the color filter 1 is stuck to a semiconductor driving element array substrate. In this color filter, the projecting amount of the projecting part 7 projecting from the display picture element part where the coloring layer 5 is formed is set to a specified amount considering thickness required for the liquid crystal layer of the color liquid crystal display devoid within the range of 1 to 4 μm.
