PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screen of high front luminance with sufficient lightness although the reflection display device which makes a display by making use of external light as a liquid crystal display device equipped with a color filter. SOLUTION: The areas of color filters 15R, 15G and 15B corresponding to pixel areas A are made less than the area of the pixel areas and the respective areas of the pixel areas A which do not correspond to the color filters are formed as uncolored light projection areas. On the internal surface of a front substrate 1, a flank reflecting film 16 which increases the front luminance by changing the projection direction of light made incident from before the device, reflected by a reflection member on the rear surface side, and projected to before the device by the flank is provided corresponding to the areas between the pixel areas A and part of the uncolored light projection area of each pixel area A. |
