PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system having excellent safeness to the health of human bodies. SOLUTION: A lighting system 1 has an illuminating lamp 2 and a bactericidal lamp 3, both positioned in a casing 4 so that the lamp 2, which outputs energy of wavelengths including visible rays, illuminates the lower space LS and that the lamp 3, which outputs energy of an ultraviolet-ray wavelength with bactericidal effects, illuminates the upper space US. The visible rays of the illuminating lamp 2 thus illuminate a room RM where the lighting system 1 is installed. The ultraviolet rays of the bactericidal lamp 3 for disinfecting the air inside the room RM are prevented from directly illuminating human bodies so as not to affect the health of human bodies. |
