THERMOSTABLE ANTIBIOTIC-PRODUCING THERMORESISTANT BACILLUS, LAWN GRASS DISEASE INHIBITOR AND PLANT ACTIVATOR HAVING ITS PRODUCT AS EFFECTIVE COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microbe capable of highly inhibiting occurrence of lawn grass diseases including fairy ring desease, and in addition, increasing chlorophyll without pollution, by selecting the microbes from thermoresistant Bacillus subtilis, etc., capable of producing thermostable bulbiformin. SOLUTION: This bacillus is selected from thermoresistant Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus firmus and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, all of which can produce thermoresistant bulbiformin, and can produce thermoresistant antibiotic(s). It is preferable that lawn grass disease inhibitors or plant activators are prepared by including a single culture product or a mixed culture product from this microbe. Also, it is preferable that the culture products are compounded with 2-4 wt.% anhydrous magnesium sulfate and 2-4 wt.% an iron component, e.g. ferric nitrate hydrate.
