PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitting yarn feeding device of a flat knitting machine dispensing with conventional complicate control when a yarn carrier is entrained by an entraining pin of a cum carriage. SOLUTION: This yarn feeding mechanism of a flat knitting machine is equipped with a moving member 33 extending in longitudinal direction of a yarn guide rail 17 and enabling free reciprocation in same direction and an engaging member moving a yarn carrier 9 by movement of a moving member 33 and permitting relative movement to the moving member 33 of the yarn carrier 9 in entrainment by an entraining means 11.
