PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a rendering engine to generate the image having a desired quality within a shortened rendering time by storing the illuminance value of each pixel. SOLUTION: The generation of data structure 140 and a node 164 and also the decision of the respective values are performed in a polygon unit. That is, each texel in a cropped part of a texture picture that is generated by the structure 140 is considered. A 1st attentional point is selected about a texel, and weight 176 that is calculated about the point is accumulated to a total weight value. The color of write is decided at a position 168 by using the product of a normal line vector 172 of the remarked point, the color of decided write and the weight 176, and the value 144 of a diffusion color is added to the final color value of the texel. It is decided whether all of texels that have the structure 140 are considered, and when a texel to be considered does not remain, color information that is stored in each texel of a texture picture is replaced with a corresponding final color value. |
