PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a device to sufficiently display optimum brake performance regardless of a road surface condition (road surfaceμ). SOLUTION: In a road surface friction coefficient decision part 55, a signal from a car body longitudinal acceleration sensor 44 and an anti-lock brake operation detection part 54 is input, in the case of anti-lock brake operation, when deceleration of a vehicle is large, a highμroad is decided, on the other hand, when deceleration of the vehicle is small, a lowμroad is decided, a road except that is decided as a normalμroad. In a speed change position correction part 56, a signal from a speed change position decision part 53, anti-lock brake operation detection part 54 and the road surface friction coefficient decision part 55 is input, in the case of operating ABS during running on a highμroad in a prescribed speed change position, a speed change position determined in the speed change position decision part 53 is changed to a speed change position in a direction adding an engine brake, on the other hand, in the case of operating the ABS during running on a lowμroad in a prescribed speed change position, a speed change position determined in the speed change position decision part 53 is changed to a speed change position in a direction releasing the engine brake, this speed change position is output relating to a speed change position output part 57. |
