<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a rotation moment exerted on a bolt to mount a caliper on a mounting bracket and to reduce the weight of a disc brake device itself through down sizing of the bolt. SOLUTION: A pair or two pairs or more of pistons 19 to force a friction pad into the two sides of a disc rotors 11 are arranged at the two sides of a caliper 13 facing each other. The caliper 13 is fixed at a mounting bracket 16 by first and second bolts 21 and 22 in a manner to nip a pair or two pairs of the pistons 19 therebetween. The respective mounting enters of the first and second bolts 21 and 22 and the centers of a pair or two pairs of the pistons are situated approximately on one and the same straight line N.</p> |
